There is only a week and a half left of school. Then I'm done. Forever. No more school for me. That means I have to join the real word. Fastenal is were I will be working, I love the company and the people are pretty cool too. Well now I'm just wasting time till class starts . . . I don't really have anything else to say. So I will stop talking, typing .

I started watching Nascar in 2001, the Daytona 500. I was 8 years old so when my dad asked me who I was cheering for I said the #8 car. At the time Dale Earnhardt Jr. was the driver of that car. His father Dale Earnhardt was also in the race driving the #3 car. Both car were owned by Dale along with 2 others the #1 which crashed out early and #15 driven by Michael Waltrip who had never won a race in him 400+ races. When it came down to the last lap, Michael was in first, Dale Jr in second and Dale in third. In the last turn Dale got bumped on the right and then got pushed in to the outside wall bringing the number #36 (which happens to be a closed personal friend of Dale). Compared to the crash previously this crash looked extremely minimal, however this was not the case. Both cars came to a stop and and the #36 driver Ken Schrader got out of this car and walked over to the #3 car to celebrate his sons second place team and teams first 1st place win. Unfortunately Dale wasn't getting out on the car. The emergency crews brought him to the hospital. I remember watching the ambulance on the tv but it was moving extremely slow. . . Dale Earnhardt was pronounced death upon arrival. Only being 8 at the time I remember just brushing it off but watching videos now I cry every time. Now here is my problem I work for a company that sponsors and Nascar car #99 Carl Edwards. Im unsure who I should cheer for now. Stick with Dale Jr. who now drives the #88 car or switch to #99. Last week I had an open appendectomy. For everyone out there who is not a Dr. that is when they remove your appendix the hard way. Now for everyones enjoyment I will post a video so you can watch to surgery. WARNING its gross so if you just ate don't watch.

New car.
I got a new car yesterday which is pretty exciting. When i got up this morning and found out it was a snow day it got my thinking. I have owned 3 cars in my life time. I have also had 3 snow days. It just so happens that within 12 hours of putting insurance on the car there is a snow day. . . . interesting. Which means that I really shouldn't be driving.

The Drive For Five.
Team Canada has been posted for this year. With Worlds fast approaching and a reputation to up hold I wish the best of luck to the teams this year. Will Canada stay on top for the 5th year in the row? That is the question.

Naps.
After a long day at work or in classes its so nice to come home throw on the tv and fall asleep for a few hours. Then you wake up and fell refreshed and ready to go for another 5-7 hours.

The cold.
Not only did I have to wake up at 5:30 but I also get into the car and find out its -21 outside. Not a good start to my day.

Family Christmas. We had a Christmas get together with my dads side of the family, and for the first time it went really well. My cousins didn't fight, the adults got along. It was great. My aunt got herself and my drunk boyfriend drunk, my dad and step mom couldn't stand. We had an after party at my aunt house and final got home at 2am. Overall a great night.

Spending time at the cottage.
Chris makes all the food and none of it comes out of a micro-wave. I get to watch movies and get homework done without having to stop and talk to anyone. Also most weekends I "forget my phone charger" so I don't have to check in with my parents.

Waking up at 430am and having to pee. Its sucks. The air is so cold, and then your feet freeze. You can't see anything and then it takes 25 mins to fall back to sleep.

Here We Go

This blog was created for a school assignment. I am going to try and show you the rocks and roses (good and bad things) in my life. Im not sure how well this is going to work but, try and keep up :) Things you should know about me to start . . . Im 20 years old, I live in oakville and go to Sheridan College. I have 4 sisters and speak my mind. Always. I am going to try and publish something 3-5 times a week. Enjoy!
